STEP ONE
FIRST CONSULTATION

After our initial contact, we will organize a time to meet at your home or property where your proposed work will take place. This will usually be conducted by Tamati, accompanied with Joshua from our office team. In our meeting, we want hear what ideas you have in mind so we can provide our expertise to offer advice on an appropriate course of action

STEP TWO
CONCEPT PLANS

If set drawings are required for your build, Our designer will create concept plans based on what you have come up with, combined with our input. This will contain a site plan, set of elevations and proposed floor plan. These often get revised 2-3 times until you are happy with the layout of your home.

STEP THREE
QUOTATION ESTIMATE

Once you are happy with your concept plans we will provide a comprehensive project estimate, prepared by our Quantity Surveyor Edwin. This will contain pricing/quotes from our trusted suppliers and contractors. Once you are happy, we sign a Certified Builders contract, as well as a “Project Summary”, which outlines your project’s ‘scope of works’.

STEP FOUR
DESIGN PROCESS

From here, We will move straight into getting your working drawings processed - this involves initiating communication with the council and liaising (if needed) with engineers, surveyors etc. in order to get your project through the door as efficiently as possible. Our Project Manager Jason also jumps on board and starts scheduling your project, in which you will be run through your project timeline during our "Pre-construction" meeting before construction.

STEP FIVE
CONSTRUCTION

Our Project Manager Jason will run and manage your project, and is responsible for the project budget, organizing contractors, materials and council inspections. It is important for us at Premier renovations to be open and flexible with our clients – Jason and Tamati will always be available as your point of contact.

FINAL STEP
SIGN OFF

Post construction: there will be a few final hurdles to clear once your renovation or build is complete. Your project manager will have spoken to you throughout the process about what happens after passing your final inspection, including applying for a Code Compliance Certificate. You can do this yourself or we would be more than happy to finish this for you. The choice is yours.

  • Tamati will meet with you to help get your dream home plans underway, and if you already have an architect you can invite them to attend too.There is no obligation to build with us after meeting with Tamati. You won’t be tied into any contracts at this stage.
